
DR. JULIA MULLER, PT, DPT, CF-L1
Physical Therapist
A self-proclaimed fitness enthusiast, Dr. Julia is passionate about optimizing every patient's physical and mental potential. Her special interests lie in working with patients with back pain, cardiac involvement, vestibular disorders, and return to sport training. She regularly participates in high-intensity functional fitness and strength training and loves to incorporate those principles when working with the older adult. On the weekends you can find her coaching at the local CrossFit gym, hiking mountains, or seeking out live music performances.

She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree at Ithaca College in 2022, along with dual bachelor degrees in science and music. She completed clinical rotations in post-operative orthopedics, inpatient acute care, performing arts medicine, and lymphedema management.

DR. LIZA CALDICOTT, PT, DPT
Physical Therapy Aide
As a former collegiate rower, Dr. Liza embodies that values of fitness for life. She is passionate about treating orthopedic conditions and her favorite condition to treat is the spine. Outside of her rowing career, she has completed 4 half marathons and a 100 mile bike race. On the weekends you can find her running and biking around town, doing puzzles, and hanging with her dog Bodhi.

Dr. Liza completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Ithaca College in 2022, along with a Bachelors of Science in Clinical health Studies with a Minor in Nutrition Promotion in 2020. She has completed 3 clinical rotation in various outpatient orthopedic settings. At Empower PT and Fitness, you can find her assisting with therapy sessions and leading spin classes in our gym.

DR. ALLY ZANNI, PT, DPT, CSCS
Administrative Assistant, Receptionist
Dr. Ally is an integral member of our team, leading all front desk operations and strength and conditioning classes. She completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy and Bachelors of Science from Ithaca College in 2022 and 2020, with a minor in Nutrition Promotion. She formerly competed in body building competitions and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).

In her free time, she enjoys running, traveling, and outdoor recreation. She is passionate about treating older adults and is excited to help clients reach their goals.

DR. SAM FRASER, PT, DPT
Fitness Specialist

Dr. Sam Fraser is an active supporter of life long fitness. She is a former collegiate Rugby player, giving her personal insight into orthopedic injuries or general "wear and tear" on the aging body. With a focus in the aging population she strives to make wellness and fitness accessible for all. In her free time you can find her remaining active in the Rugby community, hiking in the Ithaca natural lands, and watching her favorite crime shows!
Dr. Sam completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Ithaca College in 2022, along with a Bachelors of Science in Clinical Health Studies with a minor in Exercise Science in 2020. She has completed 2 outpatient orthopedic rotations as well as one inpatient hospital rotation. At empower PT and Fitness, you can find her teaching the TRX group fitness classes.

DR. EMMA SCHAEFER, PT, DPT, RYT
Fitness Specialist
Dr. Emma loves all things yoga. She is a registered yoga teacher and teaches classes at our gym and in the community. She has backgrounds in cheerleading and lacrosse and is a lifelong athlete.
She holds a Doctorate of Physical Therapy and Bachelors of Science with a minor in Aging Studies from Ithaca College. She is passionate about keeping older adults moving, independent, and celebrating fitness! On the weekends you can find her finding new outdoor spots in Ithaca to practice yoga.

DR. ASHLEY ANDRADE, PT, DPT
Fitness Specialist
Dr. Ashley is a Zumba instructor who regularly teaches Zumba classes and coaches clients at our gym. She especially loves working with clients who have neurological diagnoses. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy and Bachelors of Science with a minor in Deaf Studies from Ithaca College.

On the weekend, you can find her teaching swimming lessons in the local community, going to the gym, staying active, and traveling!
